For Leen and Ryan, that idea shaped the celebration. From the start, a clear vision brought together a talented group of Philadelphia wedding creatives to create a dinner-party wedding at Aldie Mansion that felt intentional, expressive, and centered on food and atmosphere.
Drawn to Aldie’s European feel and character, Leen and Ryan brought a fine dining sensibility to the day, shaping the celebration through cuisine and atmosphere working side by side.
Designing a Dinner-Party Reception
The dinner-party wedding reception took shape around a serpentine table that flowed through the ballroom as one continuous gathering space. Rather than separating guests into smaller groups, the table created a shared experience that felt inclusive and collective. As the evening unfolded, everyone moved through the night in the same rhythm.
A Fine Dining Wedding Menu
Cuisine played a defining role in the Aldie Mansion wedding reception. Guests were welcomed with refreshing beverages and crafted cocktails. From there, the evening transitioned into a multi course fine dining wedding dinner curated by our talented chefs. The menu began with a seared sea scallop amuse-bouche, followed by asparagus chive soup. Next came dukkah-roasted carrots, and handmade ravioli with honeynut squash. Entrées included grilled sea bass with coriander salsa verde or bourguignon-style beef short ribs. Dessert closed the evening with a dark chocolate marquise layered with tahini mousse, sesame praline, and citrus. Each course supported the feeling of a dinner party meant to linger, grounded in shared moments around the table.
By the end of the night, the feeling in the mansion was unmistakable. What began around the table grew into an evening shaped by conversation, shared meals, and time spent together. For Leen and Ryan, it was a celebration where a love of food, design, and hosting came together naturally.
