Getting Ready for the Night of Nights
Anticipation in the Air
Sequester yourselves in the “Lovebirds’ Lounge” for pre-ceremony preparations and to hang out while your guests are arriving. Fortify yourself with a snack, maybe share a glass of something, maybe snap a few behind-the-scenes pics. When you’re ready, slip into your amazing ensemble and do a final touch up before taking your fine self out to your big day!
Tying the Knot
Soaring into Forever
Say “I do” in the Apple Orchard, on the Honey Locust Lawn, in the Fieldstone Barn, or practically anywhere on the 175-acre property. Wherever you choose, it will surely be a lovely and memorable backdrop to your ceremony and a perfect place to start your celebration.
Feathers, Fizz, & Fun
Cheers to the Newlyweds!
You’re married! Take a few minutes to yourselves back in the lounge or on the estate house porch while your guests head to cocktail hour at the fieldstone barn, under the pavilion, or on the Honey Locust Lawn! Your signature cocktail looks amazing, smiling servers thread the crowd offering tempting hors d'oeuvres, and people are chatting in the golden sunset over lawn games. A few nature-minded guests are taking a few minutes in the museum, and maybe you’ve even arranged for Oden the Owl or one of Audubon’s other famous “bird ambassadors” to make an appearance?
Celebrate good times
Party in the Pavilion
Your guests settle into their seats in the Pavilion to enjoy an evening of congratulations and a dinner of “by hand, with heart” cuisine. In warm seasons, we’ll throw open the glass sides to let the soft breezes in, or if it’s cool out then enjoy a fire in the stone hearth. First dance, then another dance, and before you know it everyone is out on the dance floor partying the night away in joyful celebration!
Eventually you might need a breather, so slip out to the firepit for a moment to enjoy the night air and realize how “good-tired” you are after such an amazing evening!
