Event designer Allie Gee joined the JAM team in 2023 and has been loving her time on the Curtis Arboretum team. When she is not planning weddings, she is teaching dance to her students of all ages. Allie loves to be creative and brings that into all of the events she plans. Given Allie’s dance background, she finds the first dance to be her favorite part of the wedding. “It’s such a special moment and everyone’s dance is unique to them.” In her spare time, Allie can be found cuddling with her cat Filly and dog Finn, caring for her 40+ houseplants, or traveling the world with her spouse. She’s been to over 10 countries and hopes to keep adding to the list.

What is your favorite part of a wedding?

When the food goes out. Seeing all our hard work come together and the food looks and taste great is a wonderful feeling

Favorite meal you’ve ever had? 

My Aunt Kathey’s lasagna. It was not at all Italian and felt like a heart attack with each bite, but it has always been my favorite dish.
