The Lake House Inn story began with the wedding of innkeepers Glenn and Kate Stevens, surrounded by friends and family at an extraordinary 13th-century palace overlooking the Florence skyline. Some years later, when planning to refurbish a historic property into what is now the Lake House Inn, they knew they wanted to create a space that mirrored the elegance, ambiance, and exceptional service they had experienced on their own special day.

The Lake House Inn opened in 2007 and Glenn and Kate knew they had created so much more than just a place to say “I do.” With the Lake House Inn, these passionate innkeepers share their heartfelt vision of many elements they believe can make a wedding so very special—thoughtfully appointed lodgings to host friends and family, beautifully kept greenspaces and terraces with stunning lake views, a seamless blend of modern luxury and historic charm, distinctive handcrafted cuisine, and a dedicated, multilingual staff committed to delivering genuine hospitality. With its distinctly European flair the Lake House Inn is a perfect addition to this already very lovely corner of lush Pennsylvania countryside.
