JAM catering was started in 1980 by Jeffery A Miller, as a small brunch in bed project during his sophomore year of college. In the summers, Jeff would travel to some of the top kitchens in the world, including New York, London and Southern France in order to learn techniques that allow us to provide you with the best services. Inspiration for Jeff came from paying attention to every detail, presenting creative dishes and highlighting freshness. Originally Jeff’s one man project steamrolled into the thriving business that is JAM catering.

At JAM catering, we strive to be the best, in order to deliver the wedding of your dreams. Because of this, we prepare everything from scratch and every dish is completely customizable to your taste. From our meats cured in house to our homemade gelato made with lavender from our own gardens, we design our dishes with you in mind. Our event planners come with a variety of experience, including assisting couples in picking beautiful floral arrangements. However at JAM catering, our top asset is the variety of amazing and unique wedding venues that we offer from New Jersey to Bucks County, and many places in between.

We offer several different estate wedding venues, each one with their own individual story and personality. In Bucks County, we have four different types of estate like wedding venues. About an hour outside of Philadelphia is Aldie Mansion, a beautiful wedding venue which boasts a 2400 square foot atrium which makes for the perfect dining area as well as dance floor. Fonthill Castle sits on top of 30 acres in the heart of Doylestown, Bucks County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Mercer Museum is our best type of venue for 18th and 19th century history buffs looking for a timeless and flawless estate to host their big day.  In Delaware County, we have two very different types of estate wedding venues. The first one is Tyler Arboretum. As one of the oldest and largest arboreta in the United States, Tyler offers guests a gorgeous butterfly garden, fields of wildflowers and a stone bank barn. Our other Delaware County estate like wedding venue is the Duke Art Gallery. The Art Gallery sits on 4 acres of manicured lawns with apple orchards and beautiful gardens surrounding a Rapunzel like tower. If you’re looking for estate wedding venues in Montgomery County, we are pleased to offer options in this location as well. The Curtis Arboretum is located just 5 short miles outside of Philadelphia and mimics the landscape of New York City’s Central Park. The John James Audubon Center is a rustic sanctuary nestled among 175 acres of striking foliage, making this the best place to escape the fast pace of city life. Lastly in Montgomery County, one of our favorite estate wedding venues is Moyo. Moyo, which means heart and soul, is located in Skippack and is a chic, yet rustic venue, complete with a 4000 square feet barn. 

 

Estate Wedding Venues Include:

  • Brookmill Farm:Two houses offer 8 total rooms for sleeping guests. This home boasts a spacious bridal suite flooded by natural light and wonderful views. Amazing indoor and exterior structural backdrops. Nearly 14 acres allows you to find your own personal corner. 
  • Welkinweir Estate: A  country estate of the first order, Welkinweir is nestled into a hillside of 197 acres in the heart of Chester County. The property takes its name from the Old English translation of "where the sky meets to the water." 
  • Anthony Wayne House: Also known as Waynesborough, is maintained by The Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of unique historic sites and the creation of related educational and cultural programming.
