Hi I’m Courtney!
I’ve loved every part of the wedding industry since I was a teenager. My first internship in college was with a wedding planner. I’ve been to hundreds of weddings. Ever since then I have been planning my own and waiting for my prince. Then this year that dream became a reality! I am newly engaged to my amazing fiancé Henry and we are planning our wedding for 2021! Not the most ideal time to plan a wedding but we’re doing it. During the week I run the office at my fiancé’s building materials company JMAT and do deliveries all over in a one of the huge trucks! I love trying new recipes for dinner and am very passionate about my faith. I’m so excited to be a part of the JAM family.
Jenn joined the JAM team in 2017, although she has been in the event planning world for well over a decade. Married with two children and one dog, she loves staying active and keeping busy in the community. Her expertise is in the details. As a graphic designer, specializing in social invitations, this is no surprise that she ended up as one of our event designers! Jenn’s passion is to help create a unique and memorable event for each one of her clients. She quotes: “My favorite moment at a wedding is right before the Bride walks down the aisle. There is so much excitement felt by all; it’s the kick off of a really wonderful night for the happy couple!”
My favorite part of my client’s wedding day is definitely the moment before the bride walks down the aisle. The look on the bride’s face when she needs to take a deep breathe because the doors are about to open to all of her closest friends, family and of course her soon to be husband… well let's just say it’s hard to keep a dry eye. Truly priceless!
I am a mother of 4. Currently, I have all boys at home so planning events, lets me get away from all the sports and focus on my creative side. My favorite JAM station is BBQ in a jar, but the guacamole station is pretty fantastic too! I can wait to help you plan you event!
What is your favorite part of an event?
My favorite part is right at the beginning when the guests first walk in, and I get to see their first impression of all the food, displays and decor. You spend a lot of time making sure everything is set up perfectly and there are a lot of moving parts, but its so wonderful when that all comes together and the guests are wowed by the experience.
When I was about 13 years old I had a girlfriend from Spain who invited me to her home for dinner. Her mother made this incredible paella that I still think about today.
I went back to school in my 50’s to study culinary arts and catering management.
I played in dinner and community theater in my 20’s. I love to sing and dance.
Hello lovely couples! I found my way into the wonderful world of weddings several years ago. I love weddings because they bring together all the creative, niche details that I enjoy like beautiful cakes, stationary, fancy fonts, & decor. Helping to create two people's best day ever isn't half bad either! When I'm not working I love reading, summertime concerts, trying new restaurants (especially Mediterranean or Spanish spots), cheering on the Flyers, & being in the great outdoors! I like to travel & have a goal to see all 50 states with my husband - we're at 17 & counting! We also have two cats, Apple Pie & Moo.
I am a single mom of 2 handsome boys, 12 and 15. When I’m not attending sporting events cheering them on, I enjoy traveling. I have 22 years of event planning experience in the corporate world that has provided me the opportunity to travel all over the world.
New to Jeffrey Miller Catering in 2020 and so excited to start a new chapter making beautiful memories with the couples as they plan to embark on their own new chapters in love and life.
I am grateful to be in training as an Event Designer at the Lake House Inn. The gorgeous setting of the Inn overlooking Lake Nockamixon and all its beauty creates the perfect dream venue for any wedding. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to put my organizational talents to work in creating stress-free, dream come true weddings.
I received my certification in wedding planning from Temple University. Aside from JAM, I presently work full time in education and am also a Certified Wellness Coach. I’m married to my best friend, Ed and between us have 5 grown children. I love biking, going on adventures and spending time outdoors. We have a small farm and you can always find me in my greenhouse or chasing after our rescue goats, Huey and Dewey.
Michele was fortunate enough to have her wedding catered by Jeffrey Miller Catering 27 years ago. She was a private bridal coordinator at the time and remembers that it was one of the most professionally run weddings she had ever attended.
Her extensive background in hospitality includes Inn-keeping at a Bed and Breakfast, owning a small train stop cafe and catering. Hospitality is her strength. Her favorite part of the wedding process is when she can take a client from feeling overwhelmed to letting go and enjoying their special day.My first job was working at Gentiles produce market when I was 15. I loved getting to try new and exotic fruits and vegetables before they were more popular-- hence my love for Asian pears and Star fruit!
Emily is an old soul and often refers to herself as “Born in the Wrong Era.” A few of her many passions are anything vintage or afternoon tea related and hosting a good theme party. She has worked as a part-time wedding planner for JAM since 2016. She was fortunate enough to host her own unique Parisian Marie Antoinette themed Wedding at a historic JAM venue back in 2018.
Her favorite part of the wedding process is sitting down with the couples, finding out their unique vision, and figuring out how she can make that vision come to life.
Taryn is no stranger to event planning and thrilled to be part of the JAM team as a wedding planner. She has spent a decade in the service industry both bartending and serving, has more than 20 years in the retail industry, and has planned corporate and special events for QVC. She loves meeting new couples, clients and people, and her attention to detail, friendly personality, and professionalism will put you at ease with making decisions about one of the most important days of your life. In addition to working full time at Villanova University, Taryn loves to travel the world, dance, live music, cook, explore new restaurants, wineries and breweries, and spend time with friends and family.
Rachael joined the JAM team in 2020 right before the world changed as we knew it! Although she is new to JAM, Rachael has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and has gained experience with industry leaders such as Disney, Hyatt and Four Seasons. Married with two children and two dogs, she loves staying active and spending time with her family and friends.
Rachael loves the details that go into making an event run smoothly and enjoys watching it all come together the day of. Her favorite part of a wedding is when the reception is all set, the candles are lit and the champagne is poured, before anyone has entered. There is a magical feeling in the space that something wonderful is about to happen!
