Susan D’Amato discovered her love for wedding planning and event design as a JAM bride in 2022, when she celebrated her own beautiful wedding day at Bishop Farmstead. ​​Swept away by the artistry of the food, the meticulous attention to detail, and the warm, heartfelt hospitality that defined her experience, Susan knew she had found something truly special. Inspired by the magic of her day, she joined the JAM team that very May as an assistant event designer. Now as an event designer at Bellevue Hall and The Barn at Cauffiel, Susan pours her heart into helping each couple craft a day that reflects their unique love story She finds joy in watching every detail come together and feels honored to celebrate the love of two people on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

Outside of the wedding world, Susan enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Greg, their two young children, and rambunctious yellow lab, Duncan. An avid hiker, camper, and all-around explorer, Susan loves working for a company that values sustainability and partners with venues that matter.

The most magical moment of any wedding? The first look. Whether it’s an intimate exchange shared quietly before the ceremony, or the breathtaking walk down the aisle when eyes meet for the first time, it’s a moment suspended in time. In that first glance, all the love, promise, and unspoken emotion is laid bare. It’s a beautiful reflection of the journey a couple is about to begin together.
