Christina's Cafe at The Philadelphia Flower Show

For two years when the pandemic forced the Philadelphia Flower Show outdoors, JAM set up “Christina’s Cafe” on the terrace of the American Swedish Historical Museum. The menu featured Scandanavian-style “smörgås” (open-faced sandwiches), plus hearty salads and simple desserts. It was a great place to catch a break and enjoy a few tasty bites while enjoying the flowers!

SMÖRGÅS (OPEN FACED SANDWICHES) 

Smoked Salmon | samaki pastramied salmon, radishes, horsey crème fraiche, capers, lemon 

Shrimp “Skagen” | dilled shrimp salad, lemon curd, pickled persian cucumber, salmon caviar, celery leaf 

MushrooGula | roasted mushrooms, baby arugula, cranberry & preserved lemon relish, toasted walnuts, ricotta salata 

Grilled Chicken Salad | grilled pulled chicken in herb mayo, pickled parsnips, salsa verde, fresh tarragon
